Lawrence Ullman

Lawrence Ullman is Founder of The Ullman Group, an independent provider of capital management services to high net worth individuals, corporations, endowments, charities and foundations throughout the world. 

As Portfolio Manager of The Ullman Group within Richardson GMP, Mr. Ullman is a proven and accomplished strategist and investor. Prior to joining Richardson GMP in 2005, Mr. Ullman spent nine years with RBC Dominion Securities in Toronto, where he was consistently recognized for his performance within the firm’s elite Chairman’s Council. In 2001, Mr. Ullman was named the firm’s top producer, the youngest person to ever achieve that honour. Mr. Ullman retained that ranking until his departure. 

An active member of his community, Mr. Ullman has served on the boards of several local and national charities, including Weizmann Canada – one of the world’s leading multidisciplinary scientific research institutions – and the Arthritis Society where he was also co-founder and co-chair of the All In For Arthritis gala event, which to date has raised more than $2 million for arthritis research. 

Mr. Ullman is fluently bilingual (English and French) and is a graduate of McGill University, where he earned both his Bachelor of Science and MBA degrees.
