Seth Warner

Seth Warner has a long history as an investment advisor, fund manager and entrepreneur. A graduate of Hotchkiss School and Hamilton College, after three years’ service as an anti-aircraft missile officer in the U.S. Marine Corps he became a trust new business representative at Connecticut Bank and Trust Co. Soon thereafter he entered the securities business at Merrill Lynch, Pierce, Fenner and Smith training school. Then his analytical interests and desire to enter the institutional business drove him to become a fundamental insurance stock analyst, fund manager and general partner of NYSE member Conning and Company. Interest in technical market analysis made him leave Conning to start the RIA firm Objective Counsel, Inc which was ultimately renamed Warner Prince, Inc when Tim Prince joined Seth from the $6 Bn UN Joint Staff Pension Fund to develop a global investment management boutique. Warner Prince managed money and specialized in institutional level global stock, bond, currency and commodity market analysis via the Momentummaster System. It had clients on three continents. Tim’s untimely demise led Seth to start 111 Main Street Management Inc, a CTA and CPO where he created and ran the Darwin Fund, LP, a multimanager hedge fund whose sponsor and principle investor also died within a short time. Seth regrouped and started Warner Financial Select, LLC, an unregistered financial research and publishing house where he continued original global market research and completed development of the SPYmaster algorithm, culminating many years of stock market research and the reason for founding ETFConcepts, LLC.
