Marc LoPresti

Marc X. LoPresti, Esq. is a Wall Street veteran with over 20 years’ experience in the asset management industry, having started his career on the floor of the New York Stock Exchange working for Lehman Brothers. He has been a regular a guest host/panelist on CNBC’s “Closing Bell”, “Squawk Box” and other financial news networks including Bloomberg, Fox and international financial news outlets. Marc understands the asset management business not only from the legal and regulatory perspective, but also the intricacies of securities trading, asset allocation, and operational nuances. In addition to being founder of LoPresti Law Group, PC, Marc is a co-founder and serves on the investment committees of two multi-manager hedge funds – BattleFin Fund (“BattleFin”) and Structured Alternative Solutions (“SAS”). Both BattleFin and SAS allocate to emerging and early-stage, alpha-generating fund managers. Marc also serves on the Executive Board of Ranger Global Real Estate Advisors, an SEC-registered investment advisor to ’40 Act and other institutional global REIT portfolios with over $450m in discretionary assets under management. Marc’s executive roles with these asset management concerns provide daily insight into the challenges faced by both the buy and sell side of LLG’s clients, both in raising assets and staying competitive, to finding/vetting/allocating to investment strategies and managers that have identified pockets of ever-elusive alpha in modern securities markets.
